A job where I liked the people and had a ton of equity and sold it all at it’s peak. I am far happier now compared to when I worked for my last company - which went from startup to explosive profitable growth, to going public, to going private in a short number of years. Crossing $100k was a big deal and finally relieved this sense of money dread I’ve always carried around. I’m honestly curious if pursuit of compensation and equity has made anyone here happy beyond a certain point.
